Finding myself stuck inside when it feels like someone made Elsa mad again this year. Seriously, 26 degrees and frozen roads for the second time here in Texas is almost unheard of.

Though I am thankful for the day off from my "day job", lets be real teaching is an everyday all day job, I took the day to find opportunity in building my brand for photography. Cloudy skies and indoor props became my muse for the late morning work hours. I thought to myself why not play with angles and my new software! (Super excited about this by the way!)

I started my morning with my work station set up, camera nearby, coffee on a continuous pour (we really need Keuirg IVs its 2022), and my laptop. All set up in the breakfast nook of our kitchen, wool socks, favorite Harry Potter sweatshirt and off I go.

A few instant messages back and forth from future clients, mentors, and some of my fav people. I finished up my book club assignment and read my devotional for the day.

Stormy Weather was of course the title of my devotional, very fitting if you recall the beginning of my post. The messages God sends us on the daily will never cease to amaze me.

Remi decided to join me as usual curled up by my feet making sure her mama has toasty toes. I love that my camera has a silent mode to capture these calm moments because this pup is anything but calm.

Emma's flowers from her daddy are still going strong from Valentines day as the centerpiece on our dining table. The vibrant pink felt out of place in the cool light from the windows. They have beautifully weathered the winter temps and little sunlight.

I will leave you with what my devotional left me with today: "Jesus, speak to the storms in my life today - calm "the wind and the waves" - and calm me. Help me to hold on to your peace."
